Hey friends — we’ve rolled out some pretty meaningful updates to Dollah over the last few weeks, and I wanted to give you a quick rundown of what’s new, what’s fixed, and what’s coming next.
🌍 USD Transactions Now Supported
You can now track USD spending right inside Dollah — no need to do manual conversions or guesswork. We fetch and cache the current exchange rate, so your totals stay accurate and feel local. Whether it’s Amazon, Apple, or anything abroad, you’re covered.
🔄 Syncing Just Got Smarter
We cleaned up the transaction sync flow to be easier to understand, especially if you’re doing a manual sync. It’s clearer, and gives you a better idea of what’s actually happening behind the scenes.
➕ Manually Add Transactions
Not every dollar leaves a digital footprint. You can now manually add a transaction for those times when you pay cash, split with a friend, or just need to log something that didn’t show up automatically.
🧠 See Your Spending Differently
Improvements to how you can visualize your spending!
  1. View by
    Account
to track where money’s flowing from
  2. View by
    Merchant
to catch patterns (looking at you, Rituals + FoodDrop)
🧽 No More Declined Transactions
Previously, we were pulling in declined transactions as $0 — not helpful, not cool. That’s been fixed. Declined payments now stay where they belong: out of your feed.
🏠 Our Homepage Got a Little Love
We’ve updated the Dollah homepage with a cleaner layout, more helpful info, and a new walkthrough video. It should feel more like the app itself — simple, helpful, and easy on the eyes. Check it out here.
🔜 Coming Soon
A few things we’re actively working on:
  1. Filter transactions by custom date ranges (dropping soon!)
  2. Export your transaction data for budgeting tools, reports, etc.
  3. Support for Scotiabank accounts (First Citizens after that!)
🐞 Bug Fixes & Polishing
  • Fixed: Declined transactions no longer sneak into your total
  • Improved error messages when syncing
That’s it for now! If you’ve got feedback, ideas, or just wanna say hey — drop a note here. We’re building Dollah with you, and every little suggestion helps.
Thanks for being here 💛
— Team Dollah
